Personal Tip or Opinion of the Day

Personal Tip – Overthinking – Apr 10/24

Overthinking:  I have spent much of my life overthinking things.

It has only been in the last 5 years that I have been able to break this habit, over time.

I can say I am free of it now as things do not consume me.  I let them go and let life flow.

I used to let a lot of things take up real estate in my head that should have just been a passing thought.

Then I would allow them to stay there and take root and hang out for a while, all the time just creating more issues for me.

The more you think about them, the more they affect your life negatively.

Allow yourself a decent amount of time to think on things and then trust your decision.

Then choose not to doubt yourself but rather reaffirm your decision.

Recognize that hindsight is 20/20 and that you can learn from your mistakes, if one was made.

You can only make the best decision based on the information that you have at the time, who you are at the time you are making it with the skillset that you have.

As you mature, you will grow and make different decisions with the knowledge and experience that you have gained.

Questions to Ponder:

Are you an over thinker?

Do you question or doubt yourself?

Are you confident in your decisions?

Do you trust yourself?
