Let’s get physical: How often do spend time doing something that provides a full body workout for you?
Some people have gotten more physical in the last few years and have reached some of their goals.
Others, like myself have let themselves go a little more than before – with gyms being closed and a cold, long winters, and rainy spring where it was harder to enjoy anything outdoors. The other thing of not having the equipment...
But there is no excuse... there are free & paid programs online that can assist or just getting off the couch and doing something. However, that habit can be hard to break...
Questions to Ponder:
Have you rejoined your gym?
Are you back into a better routine that allows you more exercise?
Are you stuck in the routine of sitting on the couch binging on the next series?
With summer being in full swing, people are getting outside more and are on the move.
I for one, need to start doing something more. I am fortunate that my job keeps me fairly active and on the move – I am very grateful for that.
I still know that I need more – to do more at least a few times a week to get my body, mind and spirit going in the same direction. I feel better when I work out. I have more energy. I look better – at least I feel that I look better – so it gives me confidence. It is starting the routine that is the hardest. Once the habit is formed, then it is easy to maintain.
Whatever you are thinking about, put a plan into action to get more active again.
Make time to take care of you and you will be glad you did.
There are no excuses – there are a ton of workout apps, online options – paid and free that are worth checking out.
The only thing it takes from you is a little time to set aside to do it and commitment to stay with it!
It’s like we have been in stand still mode for 2 years – now it’s time to get out, get moving, get going and have fun doing it!
If you don’t enjoy what you are adding, then you need to find something else to do as you will not be able to stick with it if you don’t enjoy it!
So find something that works, that you can sustain and that makes you feel good and make time to accomplish it!
