Good Will: Every year around Thanksgiving, I take time to organize my house – go through closets, drawers and the rest of the house. Whatever I haven’t used in the last year – I take it to good will. This helps me to declutter my house and get rid of things that are not being used. Someone else can put them to good use instead of them sitting in the closet.
Every year it makes me feel lighter, my house looks better – it is a nice way to cleanse the soul – by getting rid of something you no longer need and giving it to someone who can put it to good use.
I take ten to fifteen minutes a day and just go through my house. I gather all of the stuff in boxes and once the whole house is complete, I take the load and drop it off.
Questions to Ponder:
Do you have items in your house that would be more valuable to someone else?
Do you have ten or fifteen minutes a day to spare to cleanse and declutter your house?
