Novembrance Day because in November We Remember!
Novembrance Day: I have said it like this for as long as I can remember.
I grew up in a time where most businesses were closed November 11th. You could only sell bread, milk and gas until noon – that I remember.
Now a days, it isn’t quite that way and to me, it feels like we are losing something.
Questions to Ponder:
What are your thoughts on this?
Is your business open on Remembrance Day?
Is it that important to be open today?
They left their lives behind and some of them lost their lives, so that we could have our freedom. This world, would be a very different place if they hadn’t made the choices, decisions and sacrifice they made. They sacrificed for us.
One day a year, can’t we make a sacrifice for them and instead take time that day to teach the younger generation the importance of our past, our history, and share their stories?
Whatever you are doing today, please take time to Remember…
