Personal Tip or Opinion of the Day

Business & Personal – Bucket List – Nov 11/24

Bucket List:  Have you ever truly taken the time to do a bucket list?

This is something we talked about regularly in my family and my parents were very good at making a lot of my grandparent’s bucket list items possible.

As I got older, I recognized that not many people discussed these kinds of things regularly.

As life got busy with kids, school and activities, these things kind of got side lined for me.

Then I watched the Bucket List and it re-instilled the importance of making this a priority.

I have done a lot of things in my life, had a lot of experiences and always took any opportunity provided to me.

No matter your age, create a bucket list and start accomplishing these items!

My dad is in his 80’s and my mom in her late 70’s.  Last Christmas, we bought them each a bucket list journal to keep track of the items they might still want to accomplish.

Make time to do this.

Questions to Ponder:

Have you made a bucket list?

What are your top 3 things you want to accomplish?

Do you make these items a priority?

What would it take to make them happen and then continue on down on your list?

Be the person in their old age that is sitting on the porch in the rocking chair reminiscing of all the things you accomplished and tried, instead of being the person that has regrets for what they didn’t try or do!
