Personal Tip – Lubrication – Nov 14/23

Vehicle Oil Tip:  Part One: Your lubricating system – Oil – that is – needs to be expanded upon:

Conventional Oil – at high temperatures will break down and stop lubricating your engine which will over time turn to a goopy sludge – when it hits this stage, it is not protecting anything.  In the winter or extreme cold, turns to molasses which means it thickens and takes longer for your engine to get oil pressure causing engine failure over time.

Synthetic Oil – will take a lot higher temperatures and doesn’t break down, turn goopy or into sludge.  The viscosity is a lot higher in synthetic oil, making it the better choice by far.  It is definitely pricier to purchase, however, it pays for itself in the long run.  I’ve seen engine temperatures in high horse power race engines in excess of 320 degrees, when the engine was inspected, there was no engine wear whatsoever.  In the winter or extreme cold, it flows better allowing for quicker oil pressure which lubricates your system better overall.

This tip is for any vehicle, whether it is a small or large vehicle, heavy duty equipment, farm equipment, motorbike, anything that has an engine really.  You will be glad you did.
