Being Stuck: Sometimes you are in a position where you are not moving forward.
Those times can create different struggles.
However, in that moment, stop where you are and take a good look around… are you:
- Going forward – nope
- Going backward – maybe or yes?
- Standing your ground – maybe or yes?
There have been times in my life where I have definitely been stuck and not moving forward.
Those are the times I take a moment and review.
- Where I was
- Where I want to go or be
- Where I am currently
- What it feels like
Sometimes not going forward is okay as long as you aren’t running backwards because it feels familiar.
Remember, you chose to move forward because you were not happy with where you were at.
Just because backward may be and feel familiar, it doesn’t mean you should go there.
Moving forward may be scary and unsure at times, but it will probably be for the best.
If you aren’t going forward or backwards, choose to stand firm in standing your ground.
You may not be gaining but you may not be losing and that is rewarding in itself – it just means you need a break – to relax and give yourself credit for the steps you have already achieved. Enjoy the moment and when ready, continue the journey to your destination.

Are you stuck?
Have you made progress in a forward motion?
Are you going backward?
Are you standing firm in who you are now? Breathe that in and hold onto it!
