Personal Tip – Moving Forward – Aug 4/23

Moving Forward:  How do you move forward when you feel like you are stuck in the mud…

This past couple of years has kept us in a holding pattern and once we get into a pattern, it is hard to get out.

It has been hard to move in any direction, especially in a forward motion.

We all seem to be waiting on something to happen – something to allow us to move freely.

Things seem to be going back to what it used to be - however, people are different, we think different, feel different, we have changed from what we were before.

I think we have been stuck in the spinning circle – like on our computers – where we are just spinning and not going anywhere.

At some point we have to stop the spinning and try to set off in a new direction to start living again instead of just surviving or existing.  When we survive or exist, we are not living and we are definitely not thriving.

Look at your life as it was, as it is and as it will be.  What changes do you need to or want to make to start living again and move into a thriving life?

Questions to Ponder:

What is normal anymore? 

Or will we have a new normal?

What does the future hold for our children – what does their future look like?

Do you feel stuck – in a holding pattern?

What are doing to get unstuck?

Do you feel like you are making headway?

What change would take you from existing and surviving to living?

What changes can you make to get you from living to thriving?
